Happy Anniversary Baby

I was sitting at home all day and they were having a mini-marathon of “I Love Lucy” (my favorite all time television show) on TV Land. They had the episode, “Hollywood Anniversary” and thought it was appropriate for this post.

In this episode Ricky forgot the date of their wedding anniversary and Lucy got upset with him because of it. In the scene below he’s trying to apologize to her by singing a song, “The Anniversary Waltz”.

Of the many times I’ve seen this episode, I think it’s one of the most romantic scenes between Desi and Lucy. Especially when they dance and kiss at the end of the scene. It doesn’t even look like they’re acting and I love the facial expressions that Lucy has.

Pure genius … you could see the apprehension in her face whether she should accept Ricky’s apology.

I’m kind of in the same boat as Ricky … I almost forgot my blog anniversary. I’ve been neglecting you my blog, I’m sorry … I really am. I’ll try and make it up to you. *Hands some flowers*

I’ve been lazy and have taken you for granted way too much my blog. I hope you’ll forgive me … but we should celebrate because it’s our one year anniversary!
