This Day Has Finally Arrived

9/80 isn’t that bad, especially when you’re already working 9 – 10 hours a day. The sad thing is, I’m still checking my email and working on things. Which I shouldn’t do because I know I’ll get into my workaholic ways again. Then be oblivious to everything and everyone around me …..

I was walking out with my co-worker on Wednesday night and we were talking about doing 9/80. He lives right in downtown so his commute isn’t terribly bad at all. He was asking me how I was handling it and what I was going to do.

Co-Worker: What time do you usually leave home?

Me: Around 07:00 in the morning

Co-Worker: So you probably get home around 07:30?

Me: Yeah .. around that time or near 08:00 at night sometimes.

Co-Worker: Then the whole day you’re probably doing 12 – 13 hours a day working and driving.

Me: Yeah ….. I never really thought about it that way. **He made it seem longer than it should be**

Ugh! I’m frustrated with work! But it’s nice to laugh sometimes when I’m sitting there looking at my laptop screen 9-10 hours a day. Or just go out randomly with friends to get a nice perspective in life or just to let loose .. . But those are rare and few.

He’s so weird … he’ll barely make the effort in talking to me … but I’ll always make the effort with him. I just don’t get him. I’m not that difficult to talk to. I have no clue what goes on his mind … if I did. Life would be much easier.
