Like A Star

I heard that song while watching some television show, which show I don’t remember. Hell I don’t even remember what I ate for lunch yesterday .. lol .. but after hearing that song .. her voice .. it was so raspy and has this blue’s type voice that I love. Her voice is soulful and you can truly relate to her lyrics if you listen carefully. Of course everyone has their own interpretation of them, but still .. . The song is by an artist named Corrine Bailey Rae .. she has such a remarkable voice that I plan on buying her CD the next time I’m out.

If you haven’t heard of her yet .. you might have heard her song, “Put Your Records On” .. she’s usually on Star 98.7 for those L.A. folks .. .. but give her a spin .. I hope you love her voice and album as much as I will when I purchase it one of these day’s when I’m not too busy from working ..

A New Beginning …..

So I’ve been shopping around for a new outlet for me to blog about. Yeah .. those things where people end up talking about themselves most of the time .. it’s all about me, me, me .. remember .. lol. I was getting tired of my old blog site and wanted a new fresh start .. hopefully this will work out this time .. but you never know though. I wanted to have a different focus for this one.

I know I’ll still write about some of my mundane things that I usually write about. But I’m going to do my best to have a different focus for this site though. Hopefully things can be different .. but you never know …..
